- 2:00PM: Transfer from Sofitel to the riverboat
- 4:00PM: Tour begins with Welcome cocktail reception followed by dinner.
- Awaken on riverboat in Amsterdam
- AM: Excursion to Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse,
- Lunch - on the riverboat
- PM: Boat cruise through the network of centuries-old canals at the core of the old city
- PM: Visit Rijksmuseum museum with a local guide.
- EVENING: Return to the riverboat for cocktail hour followed by a gala dinner
- 9AM: River cruise ends in Amsterdam. A transfer is included from the riverboat to Amsterdam's Pulitzer Hotel
- PULITZER
- 10AM: Transfer from Pulitzer to Schiphol Airport
- 1PM: Flight leaves Schiphol for home
The bicycle scam
It's wonderful to discover a city by bike, especially one as flat as Amsterdam. But be warned that scam bike rental places will happily rent you a bike for the afternoon, only to complain that you've damaged it on return. Often the scratches and dents will have been there before you rented it, so make sure you take plenty of pictures of the bike before you rent it to prove your point when you return.
